Improvised Hip Hop - Hoopla
Dates: Every Wednesday for 8 weeks from Wednesday 8th October 2025, plus show on Monday 1st December 2025.
Time: 8pm – 10pm.
Price: £255. Either payable all at once or with an initial payment of £120 followed by the remaining £135 once the course starts.
Learn improvised hip hop and get comfortable with freestyle rapping!
You’ll learn how to work with the beat, find your flow, create rhythmic and musical hooks, and construct versus that can heighten any improvised scene.
Aside from learning some Hip Hop fundamentals, you’ll learn how to leverage good scene-work to develop raps that audiences can connect with. Use the characters and scenes you create and weave them into a rap that you, and your fellow players, create on the spot!
You’ll progress as a team week by week as you have fun learning how to improvised hip hop and then put it all together in a fun show!
Whether you’ve done some Hip Hop before, or if this is your first time, we’d love to have you along! You just need to be ready to have fun!
You don’t need any previous of hip-hop or singing experience to do this course, but if you haven’t got any previous improv experience please start with one of our other improv classes first.
