Start the year with 90 minutes of fun, developing your creativity and meeting new people!
Kickstart the New Year is an in-person session designed to help you feel more confident, think more creatively, and connect with others — without pressure or performance.
Through simple, playful storytelling and improvisation exercises in pairs and small groups, you’ll explore new ways of communicating, sharing ideas, and responding in the moment. Everything is gently guided, low-stakes, and designed to be inclusive.
Expect a relaxed atmosphere, plenty of laughter, and practical takeaways.
If you’re curious, open-minded, and up for trying something different, you’ll fit right in.
No experience needed. Just bring yourself.
This session will be led by Dave Bourn founder of Sprout Ideas, who teaches improvisation, devising, and creativity at University. Dave got a degree in Computer Science before changing careers and has been teaching improv since 2002.
