What to expect from the course: Learn (or recap) the skills that make improv feel fun and easy... or easier. Blanche’s course in Improv Fundamentals covers:
Listening. Like, really listening
Accepting and celebrating your scene partner’s offers
Creating a rich base reality to play in
Object work and stage craft
At the end of the course, participants should be able to perform a 2 minute improvised scene, applying the techniques covered during the course. (The scene doesn’t need to be funny, it just needs to make sense in an improv kind of a way.) The show case format for this class is an Armando.
