Timings: Saturday 13th September 11am - 5pm Sunday 14th September 11am - 5pm Who: Taught by Katy Schutte for long form improvisers. What: An advanced long form workshop focussing on creating science fiction narratives featuring technology, politics and humanity. There will be tea breaks and an hour for lunch. This is an intensive weekend of advanced long form improv training. We'll be creating science fiction stories around technology inspired by the TV series Black Mirror. We'll work on narrative, escalation, relationships and tone. You don't need to know anything about science fiction (or Black Mirror) in order to attend. Let's make next-level improvised theatre and comedy and have a lovely time doing it! Katy's style is experimental and experiential. That means we'll be trying different techniques and seeing what works for this group on this weekend. You'll be working on personal advancement as an improviser as well as connecting and playing with the ensemble. Katy will offer you notes in a positive and held space. This workshop is limited to 14 participants.
