What to expect from the course: The best improv scenes are built on strong opinions. Characters who care about big stuff and little stuff and all stuff in between, there’s no time to not be caring. We don’t need to dispute or defend facts, we take the facts of the scene and sling our thoughts, positive or negative, joyfully at them and roll together down opinion hill.
The most recent thing said is the most important thing that has been said and every line of dialogue presents a fork in the road for you to choose which route to take.
This workshop is all about POV and playing together moment to moment. Overcoming our propensity to tell stories and teaches you to BE the story instead.
There will be a maximum of 14 participants in this course.
Who is this course best suited to: This is a long form improv course for players with some level of experience.
