Level 1: Blanche 8 week improv fundamentals
An improv course focused on developing the fundamental skills which make long form improv feel fun and easy.
When: Wednesday evenings beginning 14th May 2025. The final class of this course will be on 2nd July 2025.
Class Showcase: The Blanche Student Extravaganza on 6th July 2025
Cost: £290 (£246.50 concession rate)
Bonus stuff: Two free tickets to any Blanche show, one free ticket for The Thursday Night Jam, free standby tickets to all Blanche shows and The Thursday Night Jam.

Listening. Like, really listening
Accepting and celebrating your scene partner’s offers
Creating a rich base reality to play in
Object work and stage craft
Who is this course best suited to: This course is for anyone, but for different reasons.
Beginners: People who have never done improv before will be introduced to techniques essential to performing improvised theatre.
Intermediates: Maybe you’ve just finished a Game of The Scene course and your BRAIN HURTS! A course in improv fundamentals will remind you of how much fun improv is!
Experienced Improvisers: Sometimes we get so clever with our improv we forget to do the basic stuff and all of a sudden shows go off the rails, performances aren’t fun or we feel bored and out of sorts. Come back to the basics! Play with people who are new to improv and challenge yourself to support them to the moon!!
