Scenes are the bedrock of pretty much any improv show, so let's practice just that: more scenes, fewer exercises.
Let’s Do Scenes is an 8-week improv class for performers who want real growth through real practice. Led by Pretend Company Director Liam Webber, this course prioritises time on stage, giving you plenty of reps, personalised feedback and intention-setting, helping you identify your strengths, challenge your habits, and focus your development.
Whether you’re building confidence, sharpening your instincts, or deepening your scene work, this class offers a supportive, practical environment to experiment, reflect, and grow as an improviser through consistent, intentional performance.
Scholarships
If you'd like to take this course but can't currently afford the full fee, we'd love to hear from you at hello@thepretendcompany.com - we will strive to make the course available to you, either by reducing the fee or giving you a fully-funded scholarship place. We particularly encourage you to do this if you feel that you have a perspective that isn't fully represented on the UK improv scene.
Refund policy
We regret we cannot refund tickets once bought. We will gladly help you find another improviser to sell them to, but we can't take responsibility for actually reselling them. So please factor this policy in before you buy.
