Bad Cat has torn up the rug, knocked your tea off the table, accidentally dialled your ex and also curated the Old Red Lion’s new improv comedy night. Featuring some of the country’s finest off-the-cuff comedians, the show is hosted by improv storytelling maestros The Descendants, stalwarts of the London improv scene since 2018. The Descendants are experts in walking the tightrope of narrative improv comedy. Taking inspiration from your suggestions, they create unique characters, gripping plots and thrilling relationships with a script nowhere in sight. From kitchen sink dramas to dystopian thrillers, no story is ever the same. They are joined this month by the fantastic improvised noir comedy, Dicks, featuring some of the funniest improvisers in the country. Inspired by the classic film noirs – Brighton Rock, Double Indemnity, The Naked Gun, the rest – and a conversation with the audience, their cast of private eyes will improvise a brand-new addition to the noir collection.
